Terms & Conditions
Last updated: March 2026
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the Hestoria website or placing an order with us. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.
1. About Us
Hestoria is a luxury dining furniture retailer based in the United Kingdom. References to "we", "us", or "our" in these terms refer to Hestoria. References to "you" or "your" refer to the customer or website visitor.
2. Use of Our Website
You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not use our website in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the website or impairment of its availability. You must not use this website to transmit unsolicited commercial communications, or for any fraudulent purpose.
We reserve the right to restrict access to areas of our website, or indeed our whole website, at our discretion.
3. Products and Pricing
All prices displayed on our website are in Pounds Sterling (£) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without notice.
We make every effort to ensure product descriptions and images are accurate. However, colours, textures, and patterns of natural and engineered stone products are subject to natural variation — each piece is unique. Images on our website are representative and your table top may differ in veining, colour tone, and patterning from those shown.
We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors at any time. If an error is identified after you have placed an order, we will contact you and offer you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel your order for a full refund.
4. Orders and Contract
Placing an order through our website or submitting an enquiry constitutes an offer to purchase. A binding contract is only formed once we have confirmed acceptance of your order in writing (by email).
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including if we are unable to source materials, if there has been a pricing error, or if payment cannot be verified.
As many of our products are custom-made to order, production typically begins shortly after order confirmation. Please review your order carefully before confirming.
5. Payment
Full payment is required at the time of ordering unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major credit and debit cards. All transactions are processed securely.
For bespoke or high-value orders, we may require a deposit at the time of order with the balance due prior to delivery.
6. Delivery
Delivery timescales will be communicated at the time of order confirmation. Lead times vary depending on the product selected and current production schedules. Delivery timescales are estimates only and not guaranteed.
We are not responsible for delays outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to material shortages, transport disruptions, or force majeure events.
Delivery charges, where applicable, will be communicated prior to order confirmation.
7. Returns and Cancellations
As our stone tables are made to order, your statutory right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations may be limited where production has commenced. Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel.
If goods arrive damaged or materially different from what was ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. We will assess each situation and offer an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, or refund.
Natural variation in stone (colour, veining, pattern) is not considered a defect and does not entitle you to a return or refund.
8. Stone Variation Disclaimer
All natural stone products (marble, granite) and engineered stone/porcelain products exhibit natural variation in colour, veining, pattern, and finish. This is an inherent characteristic of the material and contributes to the unique nature of each piece. Hestoria does not guarantee an exact match to any sample, photograph, or reference piece shown on this website or in any marketing material.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hestoria shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of this website or the products purchased from us.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by these terms.
10. Privacy
Your use of this website and any personal data you provide is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms & Conditions by reference.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. Continued use of our website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
